GUIDELINE ON THE USE OF SHORT RANGE DEVICES

This guideline sets out the harmonised spectrum allocations for Short Range Devices (SRDs) for Burundi. It should also be noted that radio technology continuously evolving to reflect the many changes that are taking place in the radio environment. It is therefore important that spectrum allocations reflect these changes and therefore this guideline will be reviewed continuously. When selecting parameters for new SRDs, which may have inherent safety of life implications, manufacturers and users should pay particular attention to the potential for interference from other systems operating in the same or adjacent bands.
